What AWAITS the Women in Games of Thrones?

10 more episode to boil a decade of our lives in an endless wave of drama that we call Game of Thrones. Love it or hate it, GOT has affected our lives in one way or the other. From the Hardcore fans to the “I will watch it, once it’s over”, winter has come a long way, and Jon Snow still knows nothing.

As we draw closer to the series finale, we at Stellar Online, (after endless research and countless debates) have finally decided who survives the Final season of Game Of Thrones!

Potential Spoilers Ahead (maybe)

10. Meera Reed

A true survivor, Meera is one of the few characters who has fought a horde of white walkers and lives to tell the tales. The daughter of Howland Reed — the only survivor of the showdown at the Tower of Joy, we last saw Meera, in the beginning of Season 7 at Winterfell. After telling Bran, how he had died in the cave and now is only the Three-Eyed Raven, she returns to Greywater Watch — the ancestral seat of House Reed. This could lead to a chain of events that will be crucial for the ending of GOT, as Howland is the last living person who could testify of Jon Snow’s parents.

Fate: Lives

9. Yara Greyjoy

After the damn cool hand shake with Danny, I couldn’t wait for the awesome adventures that I built up in my head. For all we know Yara could be dead already. At the very least, she's probably stuck in a prison cell, captive to her Uncle Euron Greyjoy. With only six episodes left, a last rescue from Theon seems a little trivial against the Night King, on a freaking dragon, with a giant undead army. Still would be nice to see her reclaim the iron islands from her cunning Uncle.

Fate: Dies

8. Masande

At this point, after watching the Season 8 trailer, we see her giving a last kiss of kinds, as Grey Worm gears up for action. We all know how there is a big battle at Winterfell this season, Varys was seen at the Crypt of Winterfell. I wonder if Masande is there and will escape with the last of our heroes to fight another battle maybe at King’s Landing. She is skilled in many languages and can be helpful in translating some of the old text to find a solution to save the realm.

Fate: Lives

7. Gilly

The most functional family of the series, Gilly, baby Sam and Samwell Tarly have finally reached Winterfell. They have travelled all the way from the wall to Old Town and back. Now, able to read, Gilly is equipped with the knowledge of Westeros. She already knows the secret marriage of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, let’s see what information she will reveal for us from the books that Sam stole from the Citadel at Old Town.

Fate: Lives

6. Mallasandra

The fact that the Red Priestess was last seen leaving for Asshai, we can just be ready for a whole lot of surprises from her. She will be back this season maybe with some reinforcements to turn the tide of winter. She will make some self-sacrificial move, saving someone and redeeming herself ending her quest in this Game of thrones.

Fate: Dies

5. Brienne Of Tarth

We all know “the night is dark and full of terrors.” While, Lady Brienne, has finally fulfilled her oath, as Arya sneaked into Winterfell - She does have the Oathkeeper, a Valyrian steel longsword (forged from Ned Stark’s old sword). One of the remaining best fighters on the show, we hope to see her knock out a White, instantly dropping a horde of walkers down!

Fate: Lives.

4. Sansa Stark

Three Starks remain in Westeros, as the family has been so unlucky throughout the show. There will be one last devastation for them to face, and that means one of Sansa, Bran, and Arya has to die. (John not included as he is a Targaryen)

It likely won't be Bran, since he's the Three-Eyed Raven, and Arya has had some sick, Faceless Men ninja training. It leaves Sansa, who has been the series’ character. We would like to see her happy, at last after all she has been through. That would make her eventual death in the finale even more dramatic. If any Stark has to go, she's the most likely.

Fate: Dies

3. Arya Stark

Oh my GOT, why was she running in the trailer, fugh! You better not hurt her, George or else! Arya is a tough one, and I’m sure she will survive the long night. She is another character I want to see killing a white, with her Dagger. She will kick ass this season and Nymeria has to make an entrance too - that shit will be nerve wreaking!

Fate: Lives

2. Cersei Lannister

The evilest character Cersei, has been on the throne for the longest time in the series. Through manipulation and murder, she has now gained the army of the Golden Company. In the fight between the living and the dead, there are no thrones nor kingdoms. May it be Jaime or Arya, death is coming her way. Though I would like to see Arya cross Cersei off her list, Jaime driving Widow's Wail through her heart will be an absolute poetic ending for Game of Thrones.

Fate: Dies

1. Daenerys Targaryen

Have to give it to her, Khaleesi has come a long way. From her brother trading her to the Dothraki Horde for an army, to flying north of the wall to save John Snow. Of all the characters on the show, her story arc has had the most development. We all love her and many aspire to be like her, fans and critics alike all know for the wrath of the Mother of Dragons.

As George R. R. Martin said the ending will be bitter sweet, this may be the end of the road for Danny. I am a pessimist and some of my favorite shows have the protagonist die. The death of Ned Stark at the beginning of season 1 sealed the deal for a lot of die hard fans. In the GOT universe history seems to repeat itself a lot and the death of a heroic warrior queen, would be the fitting for the song of ice and fire.
