Noya Botique Hotel: A perfect treat for mother's day! - Gastronaut Life

We believe that everyday should be Mother’s Day, but let’s make some days more special than others. It would be an understatement to say our mothers have always done the best they can for us. We wandered around town pondering about how we could give the best treat to our mothers.

In the midst of new tall buildings and structures, is a quaint escape that stands out from the drab architecture that surrounds it. With 11 boutique rooms and a quiet courtyard, Noya Boutique Hotel is the place to enjoy a leisurely afternoon; maybe with your mother this Sunday or anyone you want to spend quality time with.

Noya is a Rana house turned into a modern boutique hotel with the lasting influential architecture of the era. Once you enter through the secretive entrance, you are welcomed by the sight aquamarine and white exterior making you feel like you have stepped right into the Mediterranean. Curiosity creeps in as you gaze across the beautiful textures and colors on the newly revamped structures. The courtyard is a picturesque setting for a nice outdoor meal with beautiful potted plants surrounding it. Noya’s restaurant has an extensive Pan – Asian menu including a menu for breakfast.

A quiet hidden garden quad with spacious seating, provides a private space for their English Afternoon Tea specialty. Noya curates a selection of exotic tea from around the global to bring you experiences like never before in Nepal. Celebrate this special tea etiquette where you are walked through the truly unbelievable world of tea.

Noya brings the experience of an English tea service right in the heart of the city. To make this unique experience in Kathmandu perfect for you and your loved ones, we were told that the hotel worked very closely with Nepal’s only certified tea experts.

The Afternoon English Tea service comes with an array of light and delightful snacks to quench the late afternoon hunger pangs. Offering premium hand rolled tea, fluffy Victorian sponge along with flaky scones and assorted finger sandwiches and savories with jam and clotted cream; all on a three-tier plate stand. There are varieties of tea at different price points to choose from. You can even add champagne, prosecco or wine to your order if you’re in the mood to start the party early.

Noya elevates the everyday tea into an experience. A proper English tea for you and your mother, can be booked a day earlier for a tea experience. The perfect outing for your mother on this Mother’s Day; a treat showing her she will always deserve the best!

If the english tea is not your thing, worry not. They even have a specially curated Nepali tea service with various Nepali sweets including bara, chatamari, khapse, barfi, jeri-swari and gulmadi hailing from different parts of the Valley.

Let’s make this Mother’s Day a little different and even more memorable.
